##### Question

# Can someone help me solve this problem please (I am desperate)

Use the following information. The equation used in the peaks function is :

z = z = 3*(1-x).^2.*exp(-(x.^2)-(y+1).^2)…

-10*(x/5-x.^3-y.^5).*exp(-x.^2-y.^2)…

-1/3*exp(-(x+1).^2-y.^2)

z is a two-dimensional matrix determined by the values of x and y. Because z is a two-dimensional matrix, both x and y must be two-dimensional matrices.

create a vector x, from -3 to +3 with 100 values.

create a vector y, from -3 to +3 with 100 values.

Use the meshgrid function to map x and y into two-dimensional matrices, and then use them to calculate z.

a)Use the mesh plotting function to create a 3-dimensional plot of z.

b)Use the surf plotting function to create a 3-dimensional plot of z. Compare the results you generate using a sigle input(z),or input for all 3 dimensions(x,y,z)

c)generate a contour plot of z

d)Generate a combination surface, contour plot of z.
